Sycamore is a Type 1 PostScript font and is compatible with Adobe Type Manager (ATM). It is based on a 1930's draftsman's typeface. Fontographer was used to convert it into digital form, with numerous goodies added, such as a second set of boxed-in caps, fractions, etc.

Sycamore is shareware. This copy of SycamoreSans is a demo version of the "real thing"- since I don't believe in "crippleware", it has the complete set of alphabets in upper and lower cases as well as numbers, but it does not have the boxed-in caps, fractions, and most of the punctuation marks. It may be given to other Mac users freely, provided that this notice is attached. However, it may not be sold or be included in any packages to be sold, and it may not be converted without the written permission from the author. All rights reserved. If you wish to continue using it, please remit $10 shareware fee, will will get you the full version.

Sycamore comes with 12, 18, and 24 point screen(bitmap) fonts (SycamoreSans comes with 24 pt only). For use, copy the PostScript file into the root directory of your System folder, and use Font DA Mover or Suitcase to install the screen font for System 6, or place it in the Font folder in the System folder for System 7.
